I'm Alsafi, and I'm 26 and have no real life, though I am possessed of a fantasy life that makes the real world simply pale by comparison.  I'm a university student and am currently engaged in having all of my soul and creativity and love of learning pounded out of me by uncaring bureaucrats... er. I'm an undergraduate English major, I mean.  I spend way too much time hanging out with the grad students in the English department, and they are the ones that tell me I'm slowly having my spirit ground to dust -- frankly, I can't tell any difference.  They're just bitter because they have to grade papers.

I live in a little apartment near the university, with my black cat, a good friend, and her two diamond doves.

I was born right smack in the middle of the cusp between Scorpio and Sagittarius, which means I'm completely unpredictable and self-contradicting.  Don't be surprised if you come back here to find the entire place has been given an overhaul and has a yellow and red colour scheme.

I love to read, think music is the most pure form of human expression, and believe in magic.  These are all constants.  All else is subject to change without notice.
